WWII Vet Breaks His Own Scuba Diving Record

When Ray Woolley turned 96, he didn’t settle back in his easy chair with a piece of cake. The WWII vet donned scuba gear and plunged into the water.

Woolley has been diving for 59 years. He set a new record with his birthday dive, beating his previous dive by several meters and a few minutes. Woolley hopes to repeat the experience and set the bar a little higher on his 97th birthday.
