CHOMP Blood Drive, May 11

When 6-year-old Violet Jackson was diagnosed with leukemia, she needed two life-saving blood transfusions. Her mother was so thankful that blood was available for her daughter that she scheduled an appointment to give blood to help another in need.

Inspired and newly aware of the importance of blood donation, Violet’s older sister Eden got involved with educating others about blood donation.

Eden organized a community blood drive with the American Red Cross and successfully filled every slot while teaching her community how to “pay it forward.”
