South Carolina restaurant owner Eliot Middleton knows that a lack of transportation can hold people back.

Middleton learned his way around car engines from his father. The two worked side by side for 17 years, even starting a mechanic shop.

After his father passed away, Middleton wanted to honor his father’s legacy. Starting a local foundation, Middleton collected 100 cars, fixed them up, and surprised his neighbors in need with a new-to-them car and new possibilities.
